In Pursuit of the Trivial

In retrospect, I should have known this was a terrible idea. Vlogs and trivia questions aren't typically a good combination.

But I was so confident I could thoroughly kick LMJ's ass in this competition. I always dominate when I play Pop Culture Trivial Pursuit with my family. I guess this speaks more to the intellectual pop culture capacity (or lack thereof) of the Roecker family rather than my exemplary trivia skills.

Hindsight is a bitch.

Click here to see how LMJ fared. I hope she doesn't completely humiliate me...

Have a great weekend everyone!

Can't wait to watch this! Dumb work computers. Happy Friday.

That was HILARIOUS! If it makes anyone feel any better, I didn't get any answers right, either. At least Lisa got one... :))

Fun post you guys! Hey, I have a little something for you over at my blog. Check it out :))

Happy weekend!

Lisa, do you realize you said : term the coined

LOL

you and Laura are great!!

Oh yeah. You'll notice that there's a pop up about "termed the coin." I am an idiot.

For the record, I technically beat LMJ. Although both of us were so pathetic I think we should probably call it a tie. I'm giving her extra points for her hot eye make up.

This is amazing. I love how serious you were both trying to be...

I'm calling it now-- road trip and The 2010 Trivial Pursuit for Jackholes Challenge. Who's in?

Also, at trivia this week (in a bar, where The 2010 Challenge MUST be held) I heard the two best team names ever...

1. "Helen Keller's favorite color is Chuck Norris." (I don't understand this, but I like it anyway.)

2. "Square roots are like hot girls, if they're under 16 just do 'em in your head." (So wrong, but so right.)

I'm still laughing. You girls are HILARIOUS.

And Lisa, sweetie, Trivial Pursuit is not your thing. :) But it's not mine either. I only would have gotten one right too.

I want my two dollars.

Lisa, I particularly enjoyed your phrase "termed the coin" haha this made me laugh so hard. I'd fail this miserably, as well. :)

Oh thank you! I needed this today :-) LOVED seeing your beautiful face and triple love that you brought the equally beautiful MsJ out of hiding!

So fun!

I love you, doll. I was having a freaking anxiety attack that you were going to get them all right and I would look like the only dumb ass in this whole situation. You did beat me, I do concede, but I figured if I stuck a kid next to me I'd at least get a sympathy vote.

I'm wily like that.

Fun times.

It's okay Lisa, I couldn't figure them out either. (And what's up with Sheryl Crow? I mean...really?)

Man, I don't know who was funnier- you with the mixed up words or J not knowing how old the child really is! Thanks I needed this after hearing my mom has fallen, broken her kneecap AND now, a day later, is in the hospital for passing out and having syncopy (arrythmia). That laugh was definitely needed!!!!

Hahahahaha, I think the comments in the video made it all the better.

I think everyone sucks at Trivial Pursuit, and I'm pretty sure it should actually be renamed the Questionaire Game of Complete Humiliation.

Games like this and Taboo and such are better played inebriated.

Oh, there's just nothing like sibling rivalry. So beautiful! Hahaha! The best part of all were Lisa's facial expressions. And the laughter, omg, totally contagious. Loved it!

If I call you awesome ONE MORE TIME, I'm going to damage my creative word-maker reputation and you *know* how I value my street cred.

So I'm not going to say it. But you know what you are.

Hilarious. I <3 you!

Love when you say to Laura, "You were nodding in an encouraging fashion" even though she knew you had the answer wrong. She's the sister who's got your back and will nod for you no matter what.

So funny Lisa - You totally need to see Better Off Dead - That kid screams "I want my 2 dollars," through the whole movie - it's hilarious, good 80's fun... Laura too, very entertaining
