Gmail meets Twitter. Done!

Gmail in 138 characters:

When Kate gets an e-mail from her dead best friend she decides to channel Nancy Drew. A hotter, bitchier Nancy Drew, but you get the idea.

Yeah, we did it with just 2 characters to spare! Impressed?

I saw your pitch on The Swivet. Great job! Mine is there, too. It's fun to see you writing as sisters. My sister Bethany and I both write. It makes the journey twice as fun when you share it with a sister!

Thanks Suzette! Just posted over on your blog. I feel so honored to have a query tracker blogger comment on over here! It's sort of like getting a visit from a celebrity, and yes, I know that sounds pathetic.

S.L. - I'm on facebook, but too scared to really use it! And I still haven't convinced Laura to join. As of right now I've been friended by a bunch of random people from high school and never update my page...terrible, I know.

No kidding re: Facebook and Classmates.com! (I go by my pen name so randoms aren't in the mix. Everybody is like who the heck is S.L.??? And I'm like Samantha, guys, it's Samantha!!!)

On the plus side, you can make connections with a lot of writers, publishing companies, etc.
