PERSONAL DEMONS Amazing Race!

We were lucky enough to get our hands on an ARC of PERSONAL DEMONS and we have one word for you: HOT.

Here's a bit about the book:

If you had to choose between Heaven and Hell, which would it be?

Are you sure about that...?

Frannie Cavanaugh is a good Catholic girl with a wicked streak. She's spent years keeping everyone at a distance--even her closest friends--and it seems her senior year will be more of the same...until Luc Cain enrolls in her class. No one knows where he came from, but Frannie can't seem to stay away from him. What she doesn't know is that Luc works in Acquisitions--for Hell--and she possesses a unique skill set that has the king of Hell tingling with anticipation. All Luc has to do is get her to sin, and he's as tempting as they come. Frannie doesn't stand a chance.

Unfortunately for Luc, Heaven has other plans, and the angel, Gabe, is going to do whatever it takes to make sure that Luc doesn't get what he came for. And it isn't long before they find themselves fighting for more than just her soul.

But if Luc fails, there will be Hell to pay...for all of them.

Lila's Take:

I devoured it in one night while drooling over Luc and Gabe, teetering back and forth between the two, before finally settling on Luc. I've never been able to resist a bad boy. Anyway, lucky for you, PERSONAL DEMONS hits the shelves this Tuesday, September 14th so you can do some teetering of your own! Even more fun, Lisa is hosting a prize package giveaway--one for Heaven and one for Hell. Fun, right??? Even more fun, each prize package includes a signed copy of PERSONAL DEMONS AND an iPod Shuffle loaded with the PD soundtrack, among other awesome goodies. It doesn't get much better than that.

Here's where YOU come in. Visit each stop on the tour and collect the bold words (ours are marked in green). On Tuesday, Lisa will have an entry form on her blog where you'll do some rearranging of the bold words. Easy-peasy.

Also, one lucky commenter will win the following PERSONAL DEMONS swag pack.

So, what are you waiting for? Leave a comment telling us which way you swing--heaven or hell, good or evil, collect the bold words and head over to Lisa's blog on Tuesday to celebrate! Oh, and go ahead and pre-order the book as well. It's steamy.

Check out these blogs to pick up your words...

Elana Johnson
Carrie Harris
Myra McEntire
Tomorrow: Beth Revis
Monday: Andrea Cremer
Tuesday: The fab Lisa Desrochers

GOOD LUCK!

I'm already leaning Luc's way, but that's just 'cause he's made an appearance here on the web....

I would totally lean toward Heaven, but I always seem to gravite toward bad boys. So, if I could meet in the middle that would be good.

Aha! I did see a trailer for this but I don't think it was the final one. Definitely going to pre-order! Good or Evil? I've always got good intentions...

I'd like to think I'm a good girl. But not always...

I have this book on my wishlist.

I'm a nice girl... most of the time. And my intentions are normally good. But I always had crushes on bad boys.

I can't wait to read this book. It sounds amazing! And I love the cover!

Gabe seems so sweet. But I'd like to get to know both of them first. Equally, of course. :D

Cannot wait to read this book! That cover is just about the most tantalizing one I've seen in a while. And the premise? Wow. Sign me up!

Phew! *swipes forehead*
I made it! I would like to be apart of the swag pack contest please!

Anyway, that was a really sticky question to ask. But, as much as Hell and it's inhabitants may be deliciously awesome, I'm taking it as more of a decision between good and evil. And in my book, evil is always ruled out. So, yes, despite the fact that the very yummy Luc is on the other side, I'd choose Heaven any and every day. (;

I think I'm going to be a chicken and take the middle road. At least, until I read the book, that is!

I go for Heaven and good! I know that it is so much FUN to be bad but I do think (or like to!) that in the end, good always wins! :-)

This contest is so much fun!!

I just can't wait to read this book. Like I said on Elana Johnson's blog, I think I would for the the bad guy, which would probably be hell LOL. Bad boys just do it for me and I don't know why. LOL

Thank you for the giveaway!

Here's where my indecision kicks in. I have no idea! I'd pick Heaven off the bat, but Hell has that "bad boy" feel to it. :/ While evil is "bad", it's still incredibly irresistible in books! Oh, I dunno... Heaven/good, I suppose.

Poor Frannie sure has a difficult decision ... to choose between Good or Better... or maybe better and BEST! hmmmm. Luc wins for me though!
What a terrific series! I'm certainly a fan of Lisa Desrochers.

I am a sucker for the Bad Boy but I also have a thing for angels?? WHy do we always have to choose? In this case I go with Hell

Thanks for the contest!

Would I burn in HELL if I said LUC? Because I totally believe he is the man that would cross that finish line first NO MATTER WHAT!! and I want to win.

I'm leaning towards Heaven just because I'm a good girl.

Angela McCallister said...

Hell of course, but I know if he was truly an evil person, no one would really pick him. But just a 'bad boy'--sure, why not?

Claire Dawn said...

I really can't believe it's almost Tuesday. Feels like I've been waiting forever for this.

Lauren said...

I'm swaying towards 'hotter than hell' Luc but... Gabe is sooo 'heavenly sweet'. Oooooo I'm going to have to pick Luc. x

Jennifer Hoffine said...

In real life, I always leaned toward nice guys, but I'm also attracted to contradictions in guys. If Luc is a bad boy fighting off good-guy tendencies underneath then I might just fall for him.

Kelsey said...

Hmm I would have to say evil- it's fun to live on the edge right? ;)
