So remember my master plan about doing absolutely nothing while Laura is doing new Mama duty for the next few months?
It sounded totally blissful, right? I was going to read books, watch amazing movies and do some serious house renovations in preparation for putting this bad boy up on the market. It was going to be ah-mazing.
And then I had this dream.
About a manuscript that we shelved two years ago.
A manuscript I might have finally figured out how to fix.
Hold me.

Don't call this a comeback
So it’s been a minute. Or 10. Or truthfully more like 2,102,400. At least we think that’s how many minutes there are in 3 years, but let...

Awesome! Go for it!
A new idea -- or a fix for an old idea -- way better than movies and sometimes better than published books. And painting walls (for instance) does wonders for my writing. Nothing better than a mindless activity for composing the next scene in your head!

If this is the book I think it is, I AM SO EXCITED!!!!
You really thought you were going to do nothing?! Hahahahahahahaha....! Can't wait to hear more about this :)
A bittersweet moment I see. I suppose it's a good think The Secret Circle and Vampire Diaries doesn't return until January... gives you plenty of time to get work complete. GO GIRL, GO!
You gotta love when that happens! Good luck with it!
Lol. You're silly. :) But I can totally relate to your situation.
I want a co-author who does all the work.
Sorry, Laura. I'm kidding, I swear.
*sends coffee and kittens*
I know what you mean. I just turned in my edits this week, but am I taking a few days off? Nah. I just figured out one of the key pieces of the sequel!
(Oh boy, here we go again...)
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Ahem.
When I finished grad school it had been so long since I last read a novel, I swore all I was gonna do after that was catch up on my reading.
What do I do instead? Spend all my time writing. We're a strange lot, but at least we're not alone. :P
Ha! Go you! I have a $%^&*()&%@ idea too! Something totally out of my wheelhouse! Go US!!!
xoxo -- Hilary
Funny how inspiration strikes. Take advantage! Go forth and conquer!!!
Funny how ideas always turn up when you want a little time off. Good luck and have fun with it! :)
Go, you!
Good on you, I just love when that happens.
