Want to know what we're thankful for?

Page proofs.

That's right. We'll be spending the long holiday weekend doing this:

If all goes according to plan this will be the last time we read THE LIAR SOCIETY. We'd go crazy if we read the final book cover to cover because we'd probably still manage to find crap we'd want to change.

Gobble, gobble biatches.

Cool. What an exciting stage to be at. I'll be writing and critiquing all weekend.

I'm so looking forward to having some time to work on something I actually give a shit about, as opposed to my damn day job.

Anyway, don't mean to sound grouchy. Have a wonderful holiday you two!

I totally just zoomed on that picture so I could read two pages. That's how desperately I want to read this book! :)

Oooh, but the pages look so neat and double sided and pr-o-f-ess-ion-al! Even I'd get excited about editing that!

Color me jealous. I'd rather do that than do what I have to do over the weekend.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Good luck with your page proofs. (How awesome is it that you're this far along in the publication process?) My holiday weekend will be spent working on my NaNo novel - trying to get those last 15K words in and seeing how much more I have to write in December to get to THE END.

Have a great holiday.

Once I finish copyedits, I'm never EVER reading SLIDE again. Ever.

Oh exciting! I'm still debating if I will let my daugter read it first or should I.

I've heard page proofs go well with pumpkin pie and Cool Whip. Couldn't hurt to try!

Even if you don't read it, you'll still find stuff. There's a typo in PD that I'll be having nightmares about until my dying day.

Have fun! =)

Ha! I'd much rather be doing that than working on Black Friday. But work I must...

It must be SO cool to see your page proofs. Can't wait to read LIAR SOCIETY.
