Fug Madness LiLa Style

So it's a well known fact that one of our most favorite sites to cyberstalk is Go Fug Yourself. Celebs + Bad Fashion + Hilarious Snark = WIN. Anyway, the geniuses behind Go Fug Yourself have come up with the fashionista's answer to March Madness, that's right they pit fashion challenged celebrities against each other  in four Fug Madness brackets "compiled through a very complicated algorithm incorporating approximate level of fame, depth of fug, quantity of fug, and other various intangibles that might include how caffeinated we were at the time."

WIN.

One of our favorite things to do is play along and we thought this year it might be fun to make it interesting. I mean, our husband's bet money with their lame little basketball brackets, why should they get to have all the fun?

So here's how it's going to work:

  • Everyone who thinks they can predict the Fug Madness 2011 winner ponies up ONE BOOK, leave a comment in this post with the book you will be betting. Please also note that you'll be required to ship this book to the winner.
  • Fill out this form with your predictions for the FINAL FOUR, CHAMPIONSHIP and THE OVERALL WINNER. Here's the bracket that you can download and fill out.
  • You have until Sunday March 20th at 11:59 PM EST to fill out the form.
  • The winner of our Fug Madness tournament will receive ALL THE BOOKS. That's right people, winner takes ALL.
Just so you know, we'll be betting with a signed copy of The Liar Society, some signed bookmarks AND a finished copy of Angelfire by Courtney Allison Moulton.

Let us know if you have any questions. And be prepared to get OWNED BY THE SISTERS ROECKER. That's right, trash talk is encouraged in this competition. Bring it.

You can't do the bracket online? Man. I was so going to enter until I saw that. I'm already heavily sunk in the trash talking and white knuckle stress of the Nathan Bransford Bracket Challenge, so I should probably pass, but it does sound awesome!

One word: WINNING. Something Charlie Sheen and I have in common. Be prepared. When I get home and fill this out, it's on like Donkey Kong.

I just completed my bracket! And though it was a toss up between Tom Brady and Brad for me (EW on both counts) I see Taylor "The Underage Freakshow" Momsen and La GaGa battling it out in the end.

Oh and I bet LIKE MANDARIN so whoever wins this prize (coughMEcough) is going to have some fabo reading material to show for it!!

Is SWINTON in the brackets this year? Or whatserface--Bai Ling? Something like that... I've followed Fug Madness for several years running :D

This sounds great! I'll have to educate myself on this, because I am easily confused.

This is so fun and so LiLa! I'll have to carefully consider this situation. I don't know if I'm up for taking on the Sisters Roecker...

No waaaaaaaaay!

I am all over this. When my kids are in bed. Cause I would never be caught snarking at someone else's fashion sense (gasp!). While they are awake. :)

Hm...

Do I get a special prize if I show up on the list next year?

I don't think I am smart enough for this. Perhaps I'll piggyback on someone else.

So, do you sit around in yoga pants, eat Twizzlers and come up with these things? You're like marketing freaks. I bet the peeps in your PR dept LOVE you.

Here's what happens when you get overly cocky while commenting on blog post from your phone: You forget to enter the contest officially thus voiding all trash talking and replacing with asshattery. Do not make the same mistake, kids.

For the record: My dream final round would include SWINTON and Ryan Cabrera. With Cabrera and his fugtastic hair (and taste in women) taking the victory. Let's be honest, SWINTON's fugness is part of her charm.

Don't call this a comeback

So it’s been a minute. Or 10. Or truthfully more like 2,102,400. At least we think that’s how many minutes there are in 3 years, but let...
