If You Love Something, Let it Go...

There comes a time in every woman's life where she has to make a choice. Two days ago Laura Roecker went to the Verizon store and made hers.

Nooooooo!

Laura, you were my last hold-out! What am I going to do?

This was awesome! Especially the fact that it went into the giant toy box where I can imagine Lydia carrying it around with her everywhere. ha!

Yep, my old cell phone meet with the same fate. Of course now the kids want a real one. Heck, so do I.

I'm sure the kids will have a blast pretending with it! Mine would. Great vlog.

LMAO! *ahem* I mean - I'm sincerely sorry for your loss and I'm sure that the phone has gone on to a better place in phone heaven.

Wait, you put it in your kid's toy box so it's going to endure endless amounts of abuse - you've sent it to cell phone hell! Clearly you should be sleeping with one eye open from now on because it will come back to exact revenge. *insert evil cell phone laugh here*

why is it that all our old cell phones end up in the toy box? LOL too frickin funny! Lovered it. And I finally gave in to the iphone too a couple months ago. I don't even know where my old phone is now.

OMG my old cell phone went in the same place! Must be a mom thing, lol. Welcome to the world of smartphones.

hilarious. Congrats on your new smart phone. I am still holding out because I drop phones in snow banks.

lol you've succumbed to the smart phone! lol I'm still holding out, don't want to pay for two data plans (hubby has one). Paying for his data plan is the best money spent ever. He never wants on my computer anymore. Seriously-best money spent ever!

Fabulous tribute to a trusted friend, as is my Samsung. You're a brave woman, and hopefully I'll have the chutzpah to upgrade mine before a) there's smoke coming out of it; b) it dies or disappears.

I can totally relate to this!!! I have been elligible for a new phone for the past three years. I started writing *seriously* during the last two. I made a vow not to get a new phone, until I got an agent

Well, I now have an agent, but I still don't have a new phone. I NEED a new one. This old LG makes a ping whenever the battery gets low. When I text, it's like using an old rotary phone, but still, I hold onto it. Laura, how did you ever find the fortitude to move on?

And I totally mispelled 'eligible'. I blame it on my old phone.

Ahahahahaha! Okay now come over to my blog and see what can happen to pretty and smart iPhones (so weird we both posted about phones today)!

Have a good weekend!

Congrats on your new phone. :D

Why didn't the cell phone join the Regulators old phone buried in the woods by the railroad tracks???????!!!!!!

They still offered support for that phone? lol

As a lifelong customer of Verizon I have to say the flip phone is dead, pocket/butt dialing is in but why the hell do I have to give up my Qwerty keyboard? I still likes it and I can have both.

It's all so sad. Yesterday's cool phones has become today's 8-tracks.

So funny! I just wish the price of data packages would come down... My teen has an Iphone and I pay for a data plan for her...I have a smart phone, but am too cheap to pay for another plan for myself. Maybe if I sell a book one day, I'll need a data plan. :)

I still have a hot pink motorola razr flip phone.

Don't call this a comeback

So it’s been a minute. Or 10. Or truthfully more like 2,102,400. At least we think that’s how many minutes there are in 3 years, but let...
