2. Do they really expect me to believe that Bimbo Bread is pronounced Beembo? Nice try ad wizards.
3. An actual conversation at 7:17 PM EST at my house:
4-year-old: Mommy!
Me: WHAT!?! It's bedtime!
4-year-old: I sick.
Me: Duly noted...Goodnight!
4-year-old: My tummy hurts. I'm going to throw up.
Me: Just lay on your side! Nighty night!
4. We had a Skype chat with an awesome group of girls in Tampa, Florida yesterday and one of the kids
5. Another birthday that never ends has begun at my house. Made Dora cake on Friday--really, Dora? Pink shirt, orange shorts, purple backpack, yellow socks? That's a LOT of color changes and also explains why Dora was looking a bit more monochromatic than normal. Rice Krispies treats for school tomorrow, party on Saturday for actual birthday and mega Bowling Bash combined cousin party next weekend. Wowsa. That's a whole lot of birthday.
We're doing something a little different this week. We love reading your Tuesday Truths so much that we want you to post them on your own blog! Link up here and we'll swing by your neck of the woods.

You seem to be very busy with that birthday party. I love Megamind (but I don't have any children to use as an excuse).
Your night time conversation sounds like one I had with my daughter the other night.
Hahaha about the Megamind Madness. It's all about Tangled over here.
Will post my Tuesday Truths later and link up here.
I remember my Mum saying similar things to me when i was a kid not wanting to sleep LOL
At least you guys are still better moms than Gwynie. Or however the hell you spell that.
I've not seen Megamind. My goddaughter is into Sleeping Beauty and The Neverending Story at the minute. maybe I'll just get it to watch myself. lol.
Hey I'm the girl who asked you a million questions in avoice an octave too high. I feel important cuz we were mentioned in your blog. I was wondering what the look was for...:)
lol I love the conversations you gals post. Read it to hubby, he thought it was funny, too. :)
My kids have a sick obsession with Spounge Bob. I seriously want to smack Patrick! Is there a way to block it on the TV?
OMG Dora AHHH! My daughter calls her Ah-Door and Boofs and INSISTS on watching the three DVR'd episodes we have All. The. Time. If I have to hear "I'm the map! I'm the map! I'm the MAP!" or "Oh, mannnnn" one more time, I might stuff my head into a giant purple backpack.
Anyway, I've been a lurker on your blog for a while. Thanks for letting us link to our Tuesday Truths!
I still haven't seen MegaMind and it is upsetting me. I'll have to rent it over break.
Also, my sister (21 years old, mind you) is terrified of Dora so we like to tease her by putting Dora socks and pencils in her stocking. Dora pencils are the best because she loves all writing implements, but hates Dora so she becomes very conflicted. Yes. We are cruel :P
Love Tell the Truth Tuesday!
I'm going to start saying "Nighty-night!" from now on. I have to point and say, "I don't want to see or hear you again tonight." And even then, I see and hear my 6-year-old again. I need a new glare or something.
I do my truths on Thursday, I know, I'm a rebel and you love it!!!
Love that you have a "Don't make a peep" face and they know it.
Dora is awesomesauce!!
Hey besties... just curious, when is the winner for Alice-Miranda selected? I'm still hoping for a win and have been obsessively lurking and overly commenting... or at least that's what's about to happen!
Yeah...who named that bread???
We have Megamind, but I have not seen the whole thing. We have the bonus Minion shorts though and those are hilarious!
My truth: I didn't even think to send a treat to school on my son's birthday this year.
Your conversations with your children sound remarkably like mine. We must be doing something right. YES!
I love the Tell the Truth Tuesday feature. Tell the Truth Tuesday multiplied=fabulous.
Oh, my truth: I'm going to buy tickets to another concert and I'm not going to tell my husband until after. And then I'm going to say we discussed it don't you remember?
Megamind was pretty awesome but I've moved on to Tangled now.
Just so hard to cook dinner while I'm singing and dancing.
Nothing beats Despicable Me though. I can still watch that over and over and over...
I have watched so much Dora and Go, Diego, Go that I can now hold an entire conversation in Spanish. Ola. Como Esta? Bien, Bien.
Birthdays only get harder as they age too. The stuff they obsess over becomes so much harder to find! Good luck with the craziness. :)
I hijacked my niece and nephew in order to go see Megamind. I'm glad I'll finally have a kid of my own to use as an excuse to see kids movies and go to Disneyworld. I know. It's a problem.
Girls, why have you not figured out the Target cake birthday solution? What kind of overparenting are you doing here? You know your last child will only feel snubbed when he gets a cup of yogurt with a candle on it and a pat on the back. Aim lower!
