Can you handle the truth???

Ok, we just had to do an emergency blog to let you guys know about this uber cool contest Joanna Stampfel-Volpe is doing tomorrow between 12 and 1 EST.

Jo will respond to any queries received that hour with 100% honesty. You may see something as simple as "Not bad, but just not for me." or "I don't represent academic non-fiction." OR you may see something like "I stopped reading when you mentioned that the mailman was a vampire space zombie who has come to deliver a message of PAIN. Because come on...seriously?"

Um...is she awesome or what?

Check out all the details at The Neverending Page Turner.

How cool is this? I hope some of you are brave enough to give it a go!

I just saw this! Soooo cool of her. I hope people enter too, because she is one awesome agent and will give some great feedback. At least she has for me in the past.

Actually, the vampire space zombie with a message of PAIN is where I'd start getting interested. Huh.

SUPER jealous of all of you with a completed MS right now, because this is an awesome contest.

With everyone spreading news of this contest like a meth fire (or wildfire, whatever), I'm not sure Joanna knows what she's gotten herself in to ...

I love those. I love that an agent is willing to put themselves and their time out there. So totally brilliant. I did one of those one time. Got rejected. Then went ahead and queried them again anyway. Something about that too-small rejection not being official enough for me.
I know. So not what Joanna wants to hear!

I saw this - what an amazing opportunity. Hopefully my Internet connection works - it's been very sporadic & won't be fixed until Sunday or Monday!

That IS uber-cool. What an amazing thing to do.

I gave you two a random blog award thingy over on my blog, BTW. (I almost forgot I'm supposed to notify people of this...)

Crap! The dreaded houseguests have foiled me again! I just now got to check the computer and saw this too late... sigh.
Thanks for posting it though! Now that the house is clean (that took WAY longer than expected) and the guests are settled in, I'll be more vigilant!

Um... I'd read the vampire space zombie book.
