Haha! Good luck running in those shoes. The Thinkers are gonna get you for sure! (But, dang, they're cute. Definitely worth getting caught to wear them.) Very fun vlog!

Wow. Laura actually looks a lot like what I would picture a Ranger to look like, in that floppy hat.

Don't enter me for anything, because I already have the book, but I'll just be lingering around the edges of all this excitement because it's just that awesome.

Thanks for the giveaway! I've been after this book forever, entering all the giveaways for it that I can possibly find (because I'm too cheap to, you know, actually buy the book now that it's out).

Wow! This is a cool way to spread the word! As for the rule breaking thing... I'll break our school's rule of: Don't bring any Cellphone! I'll bring it!

Haha! Anyway... Cool Giveaway!

This book looks awesome!!!

What rule would I break? I have a hard time with that being a teacher I'm a rule follower BUT we have a dress code at work where we can only wear jeans on Friday IF we were school loga stuff with them. I'd love to break that rule a lot!!!!!

As a high school librarian, I am constantly being told by my students to be quiet. But when a student is looking for a good book to read, I have to speak up. My library is never quiet and if it is I am the only one there!

The one rule I wish I could break is that pesky shirt requirement that society puts on us. I'd like to be able to walk around shirtless just like my husband does (I mean outside of the house, of course. I can walk around buck naked inside if I want :P).

Thanks for the giveaway! rebeccaenzor@gmail.com

Yay for Elana! I am so so so excited for POSESSION.

My rule would definitely be the speed limit. Durr.

Happy book birthday for Possession! Such a pretty little thing too! Yay!

Rule breaking? Hmm.... I hate folding my laundry and putting it away right after it's been washed. That's not really a rule, oh well.

Thanks for the giveaway!

The rule I'd most like to break would be the only rule I ever really break, speed limits. I would love to go as fast as I want whenever I want.

Happy Book Birthday Elana!!!

Got my copy and can't wait till I get home tonight to start devouring it...

Rule I'd like to break....white after labor day, lol I know I'm such a rebel...

This book looks amazing. Can't wait to get to B&N to check it out.

Rule that I'd break? Speeding, I guess. I used to break it all the time, until I got a ticket or two. Now, I pretty much abide by it.

writing contest....My blog Amish Stories is having its first ever contest this week. The First prize winner will win 2 tickets to tour the farm where the 1985 move "Witness" staring Harrison Ford and Kelly Mcgillis was made in Strasburg,Pa . This farm is now Amish owned, and the family has given permission for folks to tour their farm. This may be the last time anyone will be able to walk and see the same things that Harrison Ford and the other actors saw during the making of "Witness". The Witness tour should last about 2.5 hours. In addition to the Witness farm tour tickets, 1st prize winner will also receive 2 tickets for Jacobs choice. There will also be a 2nd place prize, which will be 2 tickets for the Amish Homestead. Please go to My blog www.AmishStorys.com for contest details, and more information on the prizes. Richard from the Amish settlement of Lebanon county.

The rule I would break-dessert before dinner :)

Yay, Elana!

I am such a rule follower. Let's see... I've always wanted to break those really obscure laws that people don't really know about... you know, like "a person may not walk around on Sundays with an ice cream cone in his/her pocket" or "Slippers are not to be worn after 10:00 pm"

:)

Happy Book Birthday Elana!

Kerri Cuev said...

Great video ladies. Holy Cowz it's finally here SQUEEEEE!!! Need to win, lol!

Melody said...

Hmmmm...what rule would I most like to break?

That's actually a harder question than it should be, considering that I like rules.

ONE CANNOT WEAR FLOOR-LENGTH GOWNS, TIARAS, SILK, AND VELVET IN PUBLIC. Like...as normal clothes.

That rule. I want to break that one. :)

Vivian said...

This is me leaving my mark. Now excuse me while I jaywalk to the market, traipse on the do-not-walk-on grass, and eat cupcakes in bed.

Love the video! Can't wait to read the book :).

This is freakin' awesome! I'm so excited for Elana. Can't wait to read it. I've given away several copies on my blog in the last few months so I'm sure my winners are excited to be finally getting their prizes.

I love all the excitement around Elana's book! She totally deserves it.

I am SO not a rule breaker, so this is a tough one. Um. Sometimes I don't pay the parking fee at the train station if I think I can get away with it. Aren't I a rebel? :-)

Tracey Neithercott said...

Great video! I can't wait to read Possession.

I'm a huge rule follower, but there's one I always break: The speed limit. I'm not sure that even counts since the rule's practically begging to be broken. 65 mph on a highway? Really funny, Powers That Be.

I would like to break the societal rule that you have to dress up to go to work most places. Why? Whether I wear comfy jeans and a shirt or slacks and a blouse, I am still the same person with the same intelligence, the same degrees, and the same capability!

The Rule I break often is: "Do not climb through windows." Because seriously, sometimes windows are a fabulous shortcut and stairs can be so long.

Oh Squee! Possessions I cannot wait to read you! I need more jobs for book money.

A Rule I Break is my book buying bans. I tell myself sometimes that I will not buy a new book for a week, and then I am walking in the grocery aisle and there is something awesome! I cleaned the couch and the car and found a few dollars now I just need a little more for Possession. I would love to be counted.

The book sounds so amazing!

If I could break one rule that I follow it would be to tell people exactly what I think. I got most of the tact and my twin sister hardly got any. I follow the Thumper rule from Bambi - "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all." (Of course, I can't see myself breaking that rule - I guess the Thinkers have me.)
