Tell The Truth Tuesday

1. Must. Finish. Editing. We are in hard core edit mode and it sucks, we suck and everyone hates us. Including (but not limited to) our husbands, children and Jack's kindergarten aid who gives me the evil eye every morning at drop off.

2. I feel very guilty for missing two weeks of Friday celeb posts. ESPECIALLY since last week I got a great tip from famous author, Lee Nichols, about Posh Spice toting her baby around in ginormous heels.

3. Speaking of famous author Lee Nichols (that really has a ring to it, doesn't it?) I'm totally sneaking chapters of Tales of a Drama Queen in between edits. I forgot how much I love good old fashioned chick lit. Love.
4. We have two contracts to sign this week. And I have no idea if we're allowed to talk about either of them, so that's all I'm going to say about that.

5. I went to an open house on Sunday and fell in love with a house. I've spent the vast majority of time since then staring at pictures of it. Great use of my time for someone with a manuscript due in approximately one week.

So, what's your truth this Tuesday? Spill it in the comments. The jucier the better.

Wow! You've had an exciting week. Contracts to sign-can't wait to hear about it-and maybe finding a house. How awesome.

Here is the photo. I'm not saying she has to wear Uggs, but at least choose a shoe that doesn't look like it was made for crushing babies.

I'm afraid I'm usually too open with my own truths. I may have to start censoring myself.

Two contracts?!! How cool is that?! My truth: I can't wait to hear about the contracts and I BEG to be a part of your next blog tour...*shameless begging commences* :-)

My truth? I left my husband to clean up a mess at our house from the pee soaked 4yo to my coffee mug that I managed to drop all over the kitchen floor as I left this morning. My dear husband told me to go, he would clean up and I feel very badly about it. My truth though is that I feel worse about not getting my coffee! That's terrible!

I saw that pic of Posh Spice! They were indeed crazy heels. I don't know how she doesn't teeter everywhere she goes... :P

TWO contracts?! Intriguing!

My truth this Tuesday: I just got back from vacation last week, and I'm already wishing it was the weekend again. Eck.

I think I'm out of secrets.

But I will say that my husband is giving me a hard time over the teenage shows I watch...like Vampire Diaries (pretty sure no one on that is really a teenager) and now The Secret Circle.

I told him it was just research. And that would not entirely be the truth.

Congrats on the two contracts!!
My truth - Working on something new and totally ignoring the finished manuscript that needs editing.

Contracts, houses ... contracts, houses ...

It's hard to tell what's more exciting. Plus isn't there a baby on the way?

Can't wait to hear about the contracts and/or the house.

My Tuesday Truth is that teaching is not fun when you have students who do not respect or value learning. The vast majority of students DO want to learn, but once in a blue moon you get a combination of students who feed off each other's lack of interest ... and there is nothing so sad or disheartening. :(

Of course, I'm not beat yet ...

well, it's wednesday but I'll tell you the truth anyways. Um...I have a cold but am acting like I might dye any second. I don't know why I do this. I just really really hate being sick. Even I know I'm being a baby.

My truth is the same as your #1. The edits are EATING MY SOUL.

The rest of my life could be swirling down a giant black hole shaped like a toilet bowl, and I'd still be sitting at my computer going "This scene needs something. How about a kitten?"

Sigh.
