She's Leaving Home...

I'm supposed to be writing and I really am writing between lots of procrastination breaks. Anyways I fired up my iTunes for some inspiration and this song came on and it was just so perfect. It just IS the book, you know? Don't you love it when the right song completely transports you to another time and place?

Ok, I'm going to get back to it before Laura cancels my WiFi. Enjoy.

I like it too! Procrastination breaks are so underrated. I think of my life as one big chunk of procrastination, with a few, sparsely distributed moments of productivity.

I think music speaks to the artist in us -- goes hand in hand w/ inspriation and writing. The right song can get me thinking in all sorts of new directions. :)

I've never heard that song before, nor do I know who that group is, but I can definitely see this song working with a contemporary piece ... or playing at some pivotal scene when your WIP becomes a blockbuster :D
