Spread the Love, Write a Review

I'm guessing about 99% of the people who read this blog also read books. For the record, this is a totally scientific fact calculated based on two assumptions:

1. Stacey is the only person we know who doesn't read books; and
2. The rest of you are literate.

Ok, there's a point to all of this, I swear. Theoretically all of you have read a book lately, and maybe it's even a book that you really enjoyed.

So, here's your challenge for the day: Blog, Tweet, or leave an Amazon review for a book that you've read and loved. You may not think that authors have time to read your comments or reviews, but they often do. And even if the author doesn't end up reading, someone else will and maybe, just maybe they'll buy the book.

What an awesome idea! I seem to have the good intention of blogging or reviewing books but get distracted with my own "stuff." So today I vowe to hop over to Amazon and give a shout out to some of the great books I've read recently.

Love the good karma you're putting out there girls. I'm super excited that I made it into the first ten to have my query critiqued by Joanna. Seriously, this is like the best timing! ; )I MUST pay it forward!

That is a good idea. I've always been a little intimidated by review writing but that's no excuse not to support the authors I love.

ACK wish I'd read this before I blogged! Tomorrow for sure. Methinks Wicked Lovely... Or what about an old, forgotten favorite of mine? Dandelion wine? Hmmmmmm. What to do, what to do.

Psychically I completed this task last night before I read this. DOne! Yay!

I just joined Goodreads, and I just read two amazing books. Like Natalie, I'm also intimidated by review writing. Some people are so smart about it; I feel like I'll just say, "I loved it! Loved it! Loved it!" but I'll give it a try.
BTW, just found your blog and, well, I love it. It's charged with positivity and humor and I'll be back.

Little Miss J emailed me and mentioned your blog, good vibes and how it's already working for her. So here I am!

What a great idea, I only wish I had found your site in time to be considered for the query critique yesterday...

I did blog about Good Vibes today though, thank you for the inspiration. Send some my way as I get ready for the SCWC!

Great idea!

Oddly enough, I just did this earlier for a book I downloaded earlier to my iPod touch. It's a children's book with fabulous illustrations and the author reads it--very cool app.

But now that you mention it, I will leave some on Amazon, too. I always read the reviews, so why not throw my opinion around, as well!

I love your good vibe week. :-)

That sounds like a fabulous idea. Although, I feel very self-conscious knowing that the authors might be reading my review.

Hang on a minute here... Stacey doesn't read books?! :P

Have you guys tried brainwashing her yet with THE HUNGER GAMES?

Also, great idea ;)!

I do (slightly odd) book reviews on my blog, but I've never thought about doing one on Amazon and I'm not sure why. I'm going to head over there now.

Loving the good vibes.

Does it count if I did one last week and the week before?! :-)

Does it count if I'm tweeting and advocating Hush Hush? I have told my friends that they have to read it or else. Edward who?

Great idea! I read The Book Thief and it is literally, one of the best books I have ever read. He is a fairly young author too. I will do an Amazon review for it.

I dont twitter/tweeter/twatter.

Oh, thank you for this reminder! I made a mid-year resolution (because why do you have to wait until the new year) that if I got a book as a giveaway and enjoyed it, then I'd return the favor with a review. I owe a couple!

Why, thank you for giving me such a great procrastination opportunity, lol. Forget the Teaser--I'm posting some bloggy book love!

Don't call this a comeback

So it’s been a minute. Or 10. Or truthfully more like 2,102,400. At least we think that’s how many minutes there are in 3 years, but let...
