Tell The Truth Tuesday

1. Sometimes I like the friends we've made because we started writing better than the business of publishing.

2. We only have one chapter left in The Lies That Bind and I'm sort of scared to write it. It's a BIG chapter and I just keep starting at my flashing cursor hoping it will write itself. Laura loves me right now.

3. Remember when I swore I'd never, ever wear skinny jeans? I lied. That probably means they're  out of style already.

4. Laura has a big secret she hasn't shared on the blog. I feel like it's time to out her. Yes? Maybe. She's going to kill me.

5. I will never, ever forget this article.

What's your truth this Tuesday? I command you to tell all in the comments.

Regarding your #1, I am amazed at the support of writers on the blogosphere. Who knew you could really forge friendship on the internet that wasn't with a 43yr old male pedophile?

My truth is I had a chocolate chip cookie for breakfast. It was delicious.

1) Only sometimes? Hmm. I guess that's honest.

My truth is that I'm in a weight loss challenge with some cats at work, and it's for big money. I'm not doing very well (only lost 6 lbs so far) and I'm thinking of smoking meth for the last week of it, so I don't have to eat.

"4. Laura has a big secret she hasn't shared on the blog. I feel like it's time to out her." <<Yes, please. ;)

My truth is that I let Finn color on the wall this morning so that I could make phone calls in peace. It worked. And a magic eraser got it right off. My husband would kill me.

secret? secret? out her!

my truth: I've been moving the goal. You know...happy until I decide that I need this or that then totally miserable. I'm a pro at it and I'm determined to stop.

Out her, out her!

Let's see...I've been up for two and a half hours now and I haven't eaten breakfast. Which wouldn't be such a bad thing except I'm pregnant. *logs off to get something to eat*

Yay for almost being done with book 2! That's awesome. Can't wait for it.

And I'll wait patiently for the news... :)

Ooh, ooh! What is the secret?? I wonder if it's what I think it is, or something totally different...

My truth? My two-year-old's diaper didn't get changed until 10:00 am this morning when HE finally took it off because it was sagging off his butt. Yeah, it's been one of those mornings.

Hmmm - a secret! Hope we get to hear soon :)

My truth? For lunch I ate leftover turkey chili that's been in the fridge for ...???? because I was too tired to make something else. (no negative reactions so far - cross your fingers!)

Here's mine, and I know writers feel me on this, but I can have 10,000 people tell me they're liking my manuscript but when I had someone question the core concept of it today I cried in the car.

I always vote for telling secrets!

My truth is that I'm doing first-round edits for the first time and it's the hardest thing I've ever done. And I'm supposed to be on a diet (sort of) but all I want to do is put my shoes on, go down to the gas station and buy some Cheetos.

*looks at shoes* *ponders*

How did the last chapter go???

Don't call this a comeback

So it’s been a minute. Or 10. Or truthfully more like 2,102,400. At least we think that’s how many minutes there are in 3 years, but let...
