Tell The Truth Tuesday

1. I just ate 2 caramel apples and I'm still kind of hungry. In my defense, the apples were technically my dinner. Yeah, that's not really a good defense is it?

2. There are Twitter feeds I read for the sole purpose of being annoyed. I realize this makes zero sense.

3. This is the funniest video I've seen IN MY LIFE.

4. Even though I'm in desperate need of yoga pants, I refuse to purchase them from Old Navy lest they think their horrific advertising campaigns are working. So, if you're an Old Navy marketing executive and you happen to stumble upon this blog post, your advertising campaign has successfully PREVENTED me from purchasing your merchandise. Congratulations.

5. Jack got Super Mario Brothers for his Nintendo DS after getting a good report card and I play it sometimes while he's asleep. He thinks I'm a hero because I still remember some of the tricks. Let's chalk this up to mother/son bonding, shall we?

What's your dirty little secret this Tuesday? The jucier the better. Spill your guts in the comments.

I'm curious if Old Navy actually PAYS a Marketing Dept., or an Ad firm. I mean seriously. I picture my 20 month old, Finn in their back office coming up with their commercial ideas. They are so horrendous. I'm with you, boycotting further purchases.

Umm...sometimes I let my 4 month old watch TV for a few minutes at a time, just to get a few minutes of Mommy time. :P

If I had my way, I would probably go to bed at 8:30 every night, but I pretend to be happy about 10:00. Also, I am shamelessly addicted to Dancing with the Stars!! :-)

Old Navy ad campaigns are the WORST. They make me want to throw things at the TV--the new workout clothes one is especially awful.

But (and I kind of hate to admit it now) I have yoga pants from there and they are pretty awesome. Sigh.

*cringes* Old Navy *stares in disgust*

Apples give you caffiene not a full tummy. What you said makes perfect sense. I would be hungry too... possibly make sure there is more carmel next round?

Dude, twitter annoys me. I can't believe you follow feeds JUST to be annoyed! When I feel that way about twitter, I get off until I can find my happy place.

Man, I'm glad I'm not the only one who finds Old Navy commercials as annoying as they are repugnant. The "These boots are too cute" ad that ran last holiday season seemed more oriented toward skeevy old pedophiles, not girls with chilly toes.

I'm sure I'm NOT the only one who occasionally gets the songs from Super Mario Bros stuck in their head and sings them while driving. Right? RIGHT??!!1!

I hate Old Navy ads. But on the last one my 3 yr old pointed to one toned up girl in Yoga pants and asked 'is that you, momma?'

My truth today?

I told him yes, it was me. I couldn't help it. Last week he pointed to a picture of Rob Schneider and asked the same thing.

Maybe he needs his eyes checked?

Oh my goodness you've seen the horrible Old Navy advertisements too? So bad they make you actually NOT want to buy the products. As my sister said "Old Navy's advertising is slowly going from bad to worse. I didn't even think it was possible." Yep. Way to go Old Navy. Oh and that video. SO FUNNY. XD

You know who has great yoga pants, without the obnoxious commercials?? NY&co. That's where mine are from and I LOVE them. :)

Don't call this a comeback

So it’s been a minute. Or 10. Or truthfully more like 2,102,400. At least we think that’s how many minutes there are in 3 years, but let...
