One last thing...

What is with the Jonas Brothers? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Is it just me or do they sort of look like they're made out of wax? Whenever I see a picture of them I'm always left wondering if was taken in Madame Tussauds.

Laura and I have discussed them at length and decided that if we were 11-years-old, we'd be all over them in spite of (or perhaps, because of) their overall goofy appearance.

Ok, that's all. Just saw this pic and had to comment. I always find Disney manufactured tween obsessions somewhat fascinating mainly because I can totally picture how the E! True Hollywood Story will unfold in about 10 years.

Oh, the JoBros...they are adorable, but also semi-creepy. Am I the only one who finds their near-perfect, purity-ring-wearing personas a little off-putting? There's something just odd with being that "good" in the dead-center of Hollywood.

Oh Sara, I'm so glad you said something. My theory is that when the E! True Hollywood story comes out we're going to find out what REALLY happens back stage and that the purity rings have secret engravings inside them that keep track of the number of groupies that they...

Ok, sorry, I was getting carried away, but they definitely seem like they're some kind of perfectly programmed Disney-bots, right?

Creepy.

Funny about the story about the Jonas Brothers in 10 years. I've thought about that myself...poor guys. I have two 11-year-olds and a 12-year-old, and they don't get the fascination either. Maybe it's similar to Hannah Montana, where the 7-10 year-olds are fans. I dunno. Creepy, though. ;)

Fun post!

I felt the same way as you did for a long time (creepy, dorky, annoying) but I am embarrassed to admit that they've charmed me with that Love Bug song and I've finally succumbed to Joe's hotness.

Looking back, what was up with Sean Cassidy? Leif Garrett? Any of them? The Backstreet boys? New Kids? Seriously. Okay, I admit it, I like working out to Justin Timberlake sometimes...

But somebody has to bring sexy back.

Hijacking - her best bet would to have been to NOT SAY ANYTHING...poor Gwyn. She is so far removed from Real Life that she honestly has no idea a) that GOOP rhymes with poop (it's likely she hasn't actually pooped in years...most likely subsists on food so digestable there is no waste, and if there is, it is removed via expensive colonics and not sitting on a toilet...I digress) and b) that her website is so far haughty that it doesn't even appeal to the commoners whose usual first stop is mass adulation of flat-ironed blondes who are married to rock stars.

Lisa - just saw that the Jonas Brothers will be performing at Atlantis a few days after we leave. Ha!

Don't call this a comeback

So it’s been a minute. Or 10. Or truthfully more like 2,102,400. At least we think that’s how many minutes there are in 3 years, but let...
