Five things you need to know about me today:
2. We joined a new writer's support group this week, but we're not allowed to talk about it. It's sort of like Fight Club for writers. I'm still waiting for Brad Pitt to show up. I think I've added most of the members into our blog roll, so be sure to check out some of the new blogs.
3. Had a classic conversation with our sister Stacey this morning:
Lisa: His e-mail just sounded really terse.
Stacey: Yeah, that's good though.
*awkward pause*
Stacey: Wait, what does terse mean?
Awesome.
4. I watched the Project Runway All-Star Challenge, and I am bitter. So bitter that I haven't yet been able to watch the new episode. I wish I could blame Lifetime, but I really think this one is on the judges.
5. I heart my Kindle. I'm sure you remember how excited we were when we got them a few weeks ago, but the Kindle has been life changing. It's obviously great for reading books, but we like it even more for reading manuscripts from our critique buddies. It's so easy and portable with no eye strain.
That's all I've got for today. Off to be productive with my last 2 hours of freedom. Have a fab weekend!

I was so happy that Daniel won the All-Star Challenge! I haven't watched the new season premiere yet either. I miss Bravo!
hahaha...wait...what does terse mean?
HAHAHAHAHAHA... sending Stacey a cocktail.
Love it. We all need days like that -- productive but not necessarily conforming :)
Hmmm... the Kindle, huh? Maybe I should ask for one for Christmas??
And I watched the season premiere of Project Runway last night with Lindsey Lohan, and loved it, as usual. (But I thought they had a strange ending lineup)
I have no idea what PR show you're talking about???
Not the premiere?
I have to admit it... I have Kindle Envy!
But I still love you guys :).
Just barely, though ;).
Going out clothes are so overrated. Next time I go clothes shopping, I'm buying all PJs. Why kid myself? I spend most of my time in them.
Congrats on your super productive day! Hmm. A writer's support group. I thought we had one already. You know, bad TV, junk food, PJs and unbrushed teeth. Now I hear you're in some secret society that could potentially include Brad Pitt?
*lone tear*
So hurt.
Have a good weekend!
not only do they now have proect runway but now they have the runway model so you see the other side of the show right after it.
You both are so awesome! I hope you have a great weekend.
*snickers at #3* Being the only bookish one in my family growing up, I can so relate. :p
I'm new to the blog, thanks to Sara! So glad someone out there is being productive with their work. Totally been distracted and unmotivated the past two weeks. Forcing things to change soon.
Have a great weekend!
The writers support group sounds good...but I must know, who did the Kate Lowry artwork? That is SO COOL!
You give some good blog over here & because of that I've given you an award come pick it up.

So Kindle is really worth the money, then?
Mariah - I think Ulie was robbed! I watched the new episode and it was pretty good. LOVE the model show afterwards.
Jenny - Stacey is the best!
Tess - Nonconformist days are my favorite, but it did feel good to finally shower and brush my teeth. I'd be the worst survivor contestant ever.
Katie - YES, get a Kindle for Christmas. It's awesome. There was a second PR show on the other night with a bunch of the old contestants battling for $100,000. They had to create 4 looks. It was highly entertaining.
Rebecca - I'm glad you're working through your Kindle envy. Maybe someday when we're rich and famous we'll give one away on our blog. Can you imagine?
Sarah - No more lone tears! I think the truth is that Laura and I are pretty much a walking writer's support group. We seriously have daily conversations about how much we love all of our writing friends. *single tear*
Shelli - I know! I think the model show was more entertaining than the show itself. All that swag!? I want to be a model.
CH - Whoo hoo! Going over to your blog now to check it out...SO exciting!
Anna - I definitely think it's worth the money especially if you're critiquing other manuscripts or if you travel a lot. It does take a little getting used to, but I'll never print out another hard copy MS again. And I love reading books on it too. It's just so portable.
Danyelle - You have got to be the nicest person ever. You're one of those horrible people that's always in a good mood aren't you??
Christa - Welcome!! So exciting to have some new friends. Can't wait to stop over to your blog!
Sherrie - Realm Lovejoy gets all the credit! You have to go check out her blog. She's doing a series of interviews with aspiring authors and she does a picture of their MC as an awesome perk. You should totally participate!
I missed you two! I think I am getting too attached to my bloggy writer friends.
I'm with JennyMac. ROFL at #3!
OMG, or as my daughter said the other day, "O M J!" you tweet now!!!!
We must talk :)
I'll check in wid ya later
I wanted to stay in my PJs all day today...but my mother is making me go to some weird party with her. It's Sunday. I want to relax...and write.
On that...I'm redoing Seven Letters--no longer is it YA. You'll love it.
That's brave of you to join a fight club for writers!
I heart my Kindle too. So easy to just pop in a manuscript and read it like a book. I definitely save on printer ink and papers now. I hear Apple is coming out with some kind of reader too.
Fight Club? Coo-el!
So mad that I fell asleep during the runway show on PR All-Stars.....That's the best part of the show!!
Lame.
There's a Stacy in every family!
