One year ago today...

Two sisters sat on the phone and had a long talk.

A talk about their lives. (they sucked)

Their dreams. (they weren't even sure they had any)

And their big idea. (to write a book and get it published)

If we had known then how much hard work it would take to get us where we are today, I'm not sure if we would have had the guts to even start.

But we've come a long way baby.

And if we had to do it all over again, we would.

No book deal. (yet)

But we're not giving up.

You don't give up on your dreams. (especially when it's taken you this long to figure them out)

Amen, sister. Preach. You have come a long way and I think you are simply *divine* (It is a Katie Word of the Day) for your drive and the support you give others.

I can't wait to see you on Oprah.

Shouting me out.

Oh dear, was that snobby or just self-serving?

Both. And that's exactly why we love you.

A lot has happened in a year. You have so much to be proud of!

Thanks, Tara! We never could have done it without our #1 reader. The question is...are you ready for #3?

Hey, our posts kinda sorta match today. It's all about claiming that dream. You girls have done it with style (I'd say with style and grace, but maybe I'll just leave it with style ;0) jk!

What will the next year bring? Oh, the anticipation!

Tess - Great minds think alike! Loved your post.

Danyelle - Thanks! We need all the crossing we can get!

Sarah - We're probably more likely to wind up on Oprah for a Nanny 911 bootcamp, but inspiring is good. We'll take it!

Joanna - Hot new pic! And the kindle is literally blowing my mind. I think I'm in love. This must be my week for new tech gadgets because my MacBook also arrived today. Oh, how I've missed working on a laptop! Writing on my old desktop from college just wasn't the same.

Now that is a heck of a lot more than most people accomplish in a year. Hmm, except for having a baby maybe...

I'm in awe of that fact that you killed it with the second book like that. WOW. Now that is enough to get me motivated even though I just got a rejection from someone I was really hoping for.

Good you for girls! That publisher will be yours any day now. Just think what the post a year from today will say! Even bigger things ahead. ; ) You always make me smile!

Rock on sista's! Rock on.

Very inspiring. THANK YOU. I needed this now. I think it's great that you and your sister are so close. I wish I had that closeness with my sis.

Don't call this a comeback

So it’s been a minute. Or 10. Or truthfully more like 2,102,400. At least we think that’s how many minutes there are in 3 years, but let...
