Breaking curfew...

Well, if you look at the time stamp on this post you'll know that I'm up way past my husband-imposed curfew of midnight (sorry dear!), but I started reading our final version of the manuscript this morning and I just couldn't stop until I finished.

And obviously, I'm completely biased and totally narcissistic for saying this, but it rocked. Well, at least I think it rocked. Oh god, who am I kidding, it could be a complete nightmare, but whatever, I loved it. When I read our new version I couldn't even remember what the old version looked like, so, I'm hoping that's a good thing.

Sorry guys, but that's all I've got energy for tonight. Tomorrow it's going to be Laura's turn to have one last crack at it. Hopefully she likes it as much as I do and we'll have this over to Major Agent very, very soon. Squee!

Oh my god, did I just "squee" on the blog. I'm sorry, it's late and I'm a little overexcited. See, there's a good reason why I shouldn't be allowed to post anything past midnight.

Tell that hubby of yours it will be so worth it when you make him rich off of the publicity and movie revenue when your book goes platinum (wait do books go "platinum"?...not really sure suffice it to say it goes "bestseller").

I LOVE watching these books come to fruition. Between you ladies, Christy, Kimberly, Suzanne, and whomever else...I'm getting so excited. And even though I had nothing to do with it, I feel like a part of it!!

SQUEE!

Are you guys on FB?

If ever there was a reason to stay up late...

I'm so thrilled to hear you loved it! That's a great sign because we are our own worst critics.

I am in awe of the fact that you work as a team. There must be so many advantages like having someone there to push through all the doubt and distractions!

You must be so excited to know the next step is finding a publisher! YAY!!!Squee away girls!

My horoscope said I'd be jealous of someone today. Hmmm I think it might be you!

Ok, I'll give you the squee. You totally deserve it.

And, even though I am a ninja I may squee for you when you get published. It will sound tough though.

Sara - Thanks for the squee support. I mean, sometimes a girls just gotta squee, right?

P-Clo - We aren't on Facebook yet because we can't stand the thought of all of our high school friends finding us! We'll probably start a joint account if we get a publishing deal. And as soon as we do, you'll be the first person we friend! Uh...if we ever learn your real name! Ha!

Rebecca - Having a writing partner is the best. I have loads of respect for all of you writers who do this solo. It gives me the freedom to write complete and total crap because I know Laura will fix it!

Tara - There would be no book without our first (and most supportive) reader!

LitGirl - Thanks!! At first I couldn't figure out what a manny was...I looked down at my nails wondering if you were talking about the fact that I really do need a mani...uh...then I got it. Can I blame these things on edit brain? I hope so.

KLo - Yes, it's a great feeling, but you know what's going to be even better, is someone ELSE telling us that we did it. Umm...someone like our agent. Ha!

Windsong - Thanks for stopping by! And thanks for the squee support. Squeeing makes me feel a little undignified, but it totally helps to have squee support.

SF - Hey birthday girl!! And thanks for all the support. Now if you'd just e-mail your mom's skin regimine we'll be all set.

LMJ - This gives us a whole new reason to want to sell this book. I have no idea what a ninja squee sounds like, but I'm guessing it's AWESOME.
